The PADI Boat Diver course is designed to enhance your diving skills and knowledge specific to boat diving. This course teaches you the techniques and procedures necessary to safely navigate and dive from different types of boats, providing you with the confidence to explore diverse dive sites accessible only by boat.
You can start your training from the moment you book your spot on the course! Once we have received your booking a member of our team will be in touch to send you the PADI eLearning product. The products are very easy to use and are available in a variety of languages!
After completing the theory, you will join us at the dive center to learn all about boat diving!
You will make two dives from a boat where you’ll practice entering and exiting the water and properly stowing your gear. During this time your instructor will also teach you about local boat diving etiquette and safety procedures.
During this course you will also learn how to deploy a safety tube or delayed surface market buoy otherwise known as a DSMB. DSMBs are a very important piece of safety equipment which allows you to been seen by boats even if you are under the water. (You may want to purchase one of these for yourself).
After completing your open water dives, your instructor will help you to complete your logbook and issue your new certification! This is the perfect time to speak to your instructor about other dives, courses or day trips!
Our dive centre is located just back from the Paphos Harbour walkway. If you’re walking along the seafront towards the Harbour look for the mooring’s restaurant, turn right and you will find our centre right in front of you. If you’re driving or taking the bus head towards Paphos Harbour bus station, here there is a large car park with all day parking. Our centre is just across the road and through the stone archway.
