• Early Start: The early morning shark dive departs at 5AM, so we meet 15 minutes before, as this is the best time to see the thresher sharks. You will need to be up early and ready to go, as the boat leaves promptly. For that reason you will need to visit the dive center and arrange equipment the day before.

• Boat Ride: You will take a short boat ride to the dive site, which is located about 30 minutes away from the resort. During the ride, you will be briefed on the dive plan, safety procedures, and equipment usage.

• Dive Briefing: Once you arrive at the dive site, your dive instructor will give you a comprehensive briefing on what to expect during the dive. They will explain the dive plan, including the maximum depth, the duration of the dive, and the behavior of the sharks.

• Descend into the Depths: You will then descend into the depths of the ocean, where you will be surrounded by a colorful array of marine life, including vibrant coral reefs and other amazing creatures. The thresher sharks are usually spotted at a depth of around 20-30 meters, so you will need to be an advanced diver or have your PADI advanced open water certification, if you are a nitrox diver we recommend using EANx for a longer experience.

• Encounter with Thresher Sharks: The thresher sharks are known for their long tails, which they use to stun their prey. During the dive, you may witness these magnificent creatures swim gracefully around you, a sight that will leave you in awe.

• Surface Interval: After the dive, you will take a surface interval on the boat, where you can relax, rehydrate, and share your experiences with your fellow divers.

• Second Dive: Depending on your diving package, you may have the option to do a second dive at a different site or to explore the local area.
