If you are a beginner you can start with a Discover Scuba Diving experience in the safe confines of our pool or you can go straight onto a course, the PADI Open Water course. We run courses at weekends and evenings and can be flexible for groups. Then you can move through the Advanced Open Water course, a wide range of Specialties, the Rescue Diver course. As a PADI 5 Star IDC centre we are a great choice to go Pro to Divemaster and Instructor training.

Once you are qualified we have an attached club which is very active all the year round with at least one major trip each month and dives available most days. Join the club for discounts in the shop an on equipment hire.

No prior experience with scuba diving is required. You must be in good physical health and be able to float for 10 minutes and swim 200 m unaided and without stopping. What to expect

This course covers the Knowledge Development and Confined Water Dives. Open water dives are available at additional cost.

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases. The first is Knowledge Development, which covers everything you need to know about basic techniques, terminology and safety procedures in scuba diving. The second is Confined Water Dives, which are training sessions conducted in a pool or water with pool-like conditions. They give you the opportunity to get used to the gear you'll be using and practice the basic skills of diving and techniques to keep you safe. The third is your Open Water Dives.
