Highlights

These are the most popular dive sites here. The sites are located off the Southern tip of the island. There are over 450 statues growing in corals at MUSA and there are various ones scattered around Manchones reef. At both sites you can expect to see a wonderful array of tropical marine life including a variety of corals, fish species, turtles, etc

PADI 5 Star Dive Center

Pocna Dive Center celebrated its 10th anniversary in December 2022 and is located inside the Selina Hostel/Hotel with its beautiful Caribbean beach, restaurant, and pool areas. This 5-Star Instructor Development Center is set up to accommodate courses and experiences for all levels and fun dive packages for anyone to enjoy.

The dive sites visited by the center are located in the three marine parks of the Parque Nacional, Manchones, Punta Cancun, and Punta Nizuc. These waters are home to a diverse range of marine life, including sea turtles, starfish, moray eels, Caribbean lobster, magnificent nurse sharks, and an endless variety of colorful fish.

Depending on the season some extraordinary and extremely mentionable gatherings occur:

in the early summer months, Loggerhead Sea Turtles get together for their mating season
during the entire summer, the Whale Sharks can be visited while feeding in groups of up to 50-100 animals at the time
and in the winter months schools of Spotted Eagle Rays give our shipwreck dives an unforgettable magic atmosphere.

What to expect

Depth and Time: Max 10m/30ft and 45 minutes per dive (national park regulation)

Meet: 8:00 am or 1.30pm (12:30 pm for refresher course)

Boat: 2:30pm

Back: 6pm

Cost includes entrance to the two parks, donation for the upkeep and growth of MUSA, fruit and water on the boat.

Once you arrive at our office you will meet your instructor, get your equipment fitted and go all together to the boat. Travel time to these dives sites is only about 15 minutes.
