After landing in Manila (MNL), you will pass through customs and immigration, You will then be met by friendly smiles and helpful hands, The Philippine Department of tourism, with Biggs Eggert of Sea Explorers, handing you a cool facecloth and a bottle of water. and assisting with the collection of your bags. We then will be heading to your domestic departure for your connecting flight to (Tag ) airport by private transfer. You will be met and transferred to Cabilao Pura Vida, Pura Vida Homes by private vans. We will have a short transfer to a private pier and then a short boat transfer to Ocean Vida Cabilao.

You will be diving with Sea Explorers, a PADI 5-Star IDC, during our entire stay in the Philippines. Top-notch service, smaller dive gear and tanks for kids is provided and included, a well-trained staff for all levels of divers. Sea Explorers will accommodate big rig photographers and first-time divers alike. Each boat has hot coffee and tea, and warm face cloths, fresh fruit, and baked bread and other goodies that await you when you returned from your dive. To top it all off, you do not ever have to touch your gear accept to put in on and giant stride into your next dive. Dive gear is rinsed and set up perfectly adorned atop of your tank, awaiting your return. Heaven! Nothing makes the staff happier on this trip than to see the smile on your faces, and that’s why their tagline is “Dive with a smile” because you certainly will.

Cabilao sits on its own islet, surrounded by pristine reefs. With deluxe ocean-view suites and rooms dotted along the hill and beach.

These are humble people, that prized family and each other above all things. Unlike most places, all the dive staff with Sea Explorers is provided health insurance and is well paid. Chris and Biggs treat them like family and they are just that.

I must say Cabilao had the most incredible and vibrant reefs I have ever seen in my 30 years of diving. It affected me so much, that I dreamt about the colors for months, and it sadly changed my mind’s eye when diving the Caribbean. For 5 nights and 4 days, You will enjoy the charm and impeccable service at the Cabilao Pura Vida resort. 4 days of 3 dives per day, meals and village school excursions. a spectacular Sea Explorer resort is called Pura Vida: All Oceanfront rooms sitting on this the smallest of islets completely surrounded by the spectacular coral reef. The diving will provide a plethora of pygmy seahorses, turtles, rays, sharks, and schools of wild dolphins. This boutique Island resort is perfect for small groups, family reunions and Kids Sea Camp. I loved the personal closeness this resort offers along with the continued exceptional service, food, and spa.

Last but not least, Biggs will arrange for the group to travel over to the chocolate hills, zip line and the hanging bridge all on the island of Bohol during your stay.

you are transported from Cabilao on our same banka boats. Lunch is served and the majestic views along the way are surely not to be missed photo opportunities with 2 dives including Oslob with snorkeling and diving with the whale sharks. Sea Explorers staff sings and plays music, entertaining the kids all along the way to Dauin via Oslob.

Pura Vida Homes and Resort. The one and two-bedroom villas can easily accommodate families of 5 and are crafted from rich hardwoods and majestic views. The beautiful beach, 2 pools, gym, spa and wedding chapel were most inspiring.

Along with all the local traditions, there is a very modern feel, microwaves, coffee makers, and the most comfortable beds in all the Philippines. There are villages to explore, a mountain school, and more amazing diving than any other place in the world I have dove. This trip is over the top, and hands down my favorite destination to dive.

Diving Apo Island provides an endless view of colorful soft corals, teeming with fish and punctuated with my favorite, turtles! To end the day, you can do a muck dive. I had read about them for years and never thought the moment would come. Tiny orange frogfish the size of a gumball, vibrant tiger shrimp and anemone crabs, pink seahorses and little soft-bodied gastropods called nudibranch that presented extraordinary colors and patterns I could have never imagined. This type of diving allows kids to slow down and focus on the tiniest of beings in this magical underwater world.

You will enjoy some crazy fun diving Oslob on our way from Cabilao. With Sea Explorers, you will dive in 35’ of warm clear water while observing the whale sharks feeding on krill. I had only been diving with Whale sharks in the Galapagos, and it is just fabulous diving in these much warmer waters. Kids and families can snorkel or dive this from Dauin any time during their stay.

Payment terms

Deposit policy:

A $1,500 non-refundable deposit per room is required to confirm your resort space. (A Liveaboard deposit for each cabin is $1,500, also non-refundable) Please note the deposit amount can change depending on the trip. Always check your confirmation or quote provided by one of our travel specialists. Final payments due no later than March 1st, 2021.

Cancellation terms

PAYMENT:

Full payment of your package is due as stated on your invoice. Reservations made after March 01, 2021 for summer travel will be due at the time of reservation confirmation. Reservations made after July 01, 2021 for Thanksgiving travel will be due at the time of reservation confirmation. Reservations made after Dec 01, 2020 for spring travel the following year will be due at the time of reservation confirmation. ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, no unused portions of the package can be refunded. Kids Sea Camp reserves the right to deny or cancel any reservation.
Late payments, insufficient funds, or returned checks will result in a $50 fee. Late payments past 30 days will result in discount forfeiture. Final payment not received beyond 30 days of final payment due date, without prior approval in writing from KSC, will result in reservation cancellation. Itineraries, schedules, package rates and inclusions are subject to change without notice. Discounts and promotions cannot be combined.

CANCELLATIONS OR CHANGES TO RESERVATION:

There are no change fees to upgrade a room, add rooms, add nights or people if available at time of request. If you have to downgrade or cancel a room, or number of people from a reservation after final payment is due, there are no refunds. All payments are non-refundable. Canceling a destination, changing to another destination or downgrading a reservation that final payment is not yet due and has not been paid, will result in loss of any prior promotional discount. A 20% cancel-change fee will apply to any part of a reservation being cancelled.
No refunds will be provided for cancellations, no shows, or unused portions of your trip. Your full amount of the deposit can be applied to a change of destination in the same calendar year with written request and approval. Discounts & promotions are NOT applied to VAT, taxes, or park fees. Standard retail rates apply to any additional rooms, people, courses etc. booked in addition to your KSC package.

TERMS & CONDITIONS & ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Any deposit or payment made to Kids Sea Camp Inc. shows acceptance and acknowledgment of these policies, terms and conditions as stated herein: Kids Sea Camp Inc. All tickets and vouchers are issued subject to terms and conditions and Kids Sea Camp waiver form also provided. Kids Sea Camp and its staff will not be responsible for, and will not issue refunds or credits for the following: Early departure by customer’s choice, activities or trip cancelled or unused for any reason including but not limited to weather, acts of God, Customers failure to produce proper information, postponed flights, not providing proper medical information, or doctor’s approval to participate when “yes” to issue is stated on medical forms, or if any medical condition is revealed that has not been approved by a doctor, nor for errors herein.
Furthermore, KSC will not be responsible for loss of costs incurred as a result of passenger’s failure to supply proper identification for immigrants entry or participation requirements for diving or other activities. It is the passenger’s responsibility to comply with all customs and immigration laws. I hereby certify that I have read, agreed, acknowledge, and understand the foregoing statements and understand all terms and conditions herein.

SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES:

Kids Sea Camp Inc., Family Dive Adventures and its services providers reserve the right to cancel a booking or suggest providing Services at an alternative date in the event that conditions, including but not limited to, poor weather, acts of God, volcanic eruptions, tornado, tsunami, flood, natural disaster, fire, acts of war, riots, pandemics, epidemics, and government actions resulting from the pandemic or epidemic, or other circumstances make it unsafe or impractical to provide Services at the date(s) specified in the booking confirmation.
The Service Providers, which are independent businesses from Kids Sea Camp, have the right to make their own decisions as regards to offering rescheduling options when they deem a cancelation or rescheduling necessary. No refund shall apply in relation to a canceled booking, Kids Sea Camp inc. shall not be held responsible for indirect or ancillary costs such as airfare, or any other costs that are directly or indirectly related to its providing Services. Kids Sea Camp highly recommends taking out private travel insurance.

Amun Ini: 15 Oceanview and infinity pool view rooms, with either 1 king or 2 queens or 1 king and 1 twin bed configuration in each room. Fine dining restaurant with a farm to table foods, 5 star PADI dive shop located on the beach. 3 boat dives daily and 3 meals daily for all locations. Private boats, private diving, and valet level diving.

Cabilao Pura Vida Resort

The name says it all. Set right on the water's edge. This resort has beautiful ocean view cliffside deluxe rooms and spacious suites as well as beach deluxe rooms sitting on the white sand beach. You will find this resort charming, small and full of culture. It's perfect for families. Each room has wifi, AC, and spectacular ocean views. There is a local basketball court at the resort and Tom and the kids are always waiting for a pickup game. That and the nightly Karaoke make this one of the most fun weeks to enjoy for the kids. Private dining beautiful beaches and a world-class spa are all apart of this perfect package. Daily diving will include large schools of fish, turtles, and endless pristine coral reefs teeming with marine life for all to enjoy each day. The rooms are all ocean view with large balconies to enjoy the spectacular sunrise. 3 rooms are down on the beach and the rest upon the hill overlooking the sea. Rooms have 1 king or 2 queen and suites have one king and one twin bed, There are 2 large corner suites and one beachfront suite at Ocean Vida Cabilao. All resorts have a state of the are photo room for camera prep and charging stations.

Pura Vida Beach & Dive Resort has 27 rooms surrounded by a tropical garden. There are 5 different room categories: suite rooms, family deluxe rooms, deluxe rooms, and standard rooms. The standard rooms are located in the back of the resort with a beautiful garden view. All the other rooms are in the front part nicely arranged around the pool area near the beachfront. The restaurant is located on top of the Sea Explorers dive center directly at the beach. The beach bar, as well as the extended restaurant, are just beside the dive center near the pool area.

We have blocked several villas at Pura Vida Homes. This resort offers luxurious one, two or three-bedroom villas that can easily accommodate families of 3 to 6. Oceanfront villas crafted from rich hardwoods and majestic views. One master bedroom with a king bed and a second bedroom with 2 single beds in each of the 2 bedroom Villas. Full kitchens and living room with a balcony spanning the entire villa. Each overlooks the beautiful beach or 2 pools. There's a gym, spa and wedding chapel for those who may have another agenda.

Suite Rooms: The 2 suite rooms are located on the first floor of the two-story buildings behind the deluxe rooms. The big balcony equipped with a small mini-bar – refrigerator and two sunbeds offers a nice view over the tropical garden towards the pool. The suite rooms have a living room furnished with a beautiful set made of high-quality bamboo. In the bedroom, you will find a big matrimonial bed and a flat-screen TV as well as a split air-con to cool down the suite to your preferred temperature. The spacious bathroom features a hot & cold water bathtub with whirlpool, shower, and a double basin sink.

Deluxe Rooms: The 12 deluxe rooms consist of 5 double bungalows and 2 single bungalows located around the pool and 1 double bungalow by the beachfront. The rooms are equipped with split air-con, flat-screen TV, and minibar-refrigerator. 10 of the 12 rooms are furnished with 2 comfortable single beds which can be set up as a matrimonial bed, the other rooms have one double bed. The bathrooms feature a walk-in closet and a hot & cold shower. There is a relaxing garden or beach view from each of the deluxe room’s terraces.

Family Rooms: Giving families the opportunity having an accommodation to enjoy their vacation together the resort offers 3 different family deluxe rooms which all feature a nice terrace, hot & cold shower, air-condition, minibar refrigerator and TV. Two rooms are located on the ground floor of the suite room buildings directly behind the deluxe rooms. The Dolphin room is one big room furnished with 2 single beds and one matrimonial bed with a partial open partition and one bathroom with shower. The Blue Ring / Moorish Idol room are 2 rooms with a connecting door. Each room has its own bathroom. Moorish Idol has one big bed while Blue Ring is furnished with 2 single beds. The Hammerhead room is located in the back of the resort in a single bungalow. The big room offers a bar desk and two single beds. Almost any room request can be equipped with an additional single bed for a third person.

Standard Rooms: In the back of the resort you can find the 10 standard bamboo cottages. All the standard rooms are arranged in a U-shape offering a nice view from their balcony over the beautiful garden in the center. The rooms have either double or single beds and feature air-conditioning, TV, a safety deposit vault and an optional mosquito net. All the bathrooms are concrete and feature a hot & cold shower.

Vida Spa: Get your body pampered up after a day of diving in the resorts Vida Spa. Choose one of the 8 different massage treatments as well as a manicure and pedicure. Chill out and enjoy the relaxing ambiance during your treatment. The Spa also offers a sauna and a steam bath. You can have your treatments booked at your preferred time. There are also daytime specials, just inquire at the reception.

Vida Fit Gym and Fitness Center: Be fit with a smile is the slogan of our newly built fitness center in Dauin. Equipped with state of the art gym equipment made by Technogym, the gym also features air-conditioning, shower, and a changing room. For those who feel the need to do some cardio exercises, weightlifting, or simply just some stretching, the Vida Fit Gym, and fitness center is free for all our Pura Vida Beach Resort guests.

Logistics

PASSPORTS & DOCUMENTATION

All travelers must have a current passport, adequate funds to support themselves, and a return airline ticket to travel out of the USA. Travelers must have a passport that is valid for 6 months from the date of entry to any foreign country. It is the travelers’ responsibility to ensure they have the proper documentation to travel into each country on his or her itinerary as well as for re-entry and return to their country. Please check with the appropriate consulate as well as your chosen airline carrier to ensure you have the proper documentation. Always check your passport and visa requirements. US citizens may go to the US Department of State website at www.travel.state.gov for more information.

The website also has information for consulates by country to assist with requirements. There are special requirements for children leaving the US and many countries have adopted special requirements for the protection of children. If you are traveling with a child that is not your own, a single parent with a child, a child with a different last name, or traveling without both natural parents of the child, you will require documentation proving your right to travel with children. Since regulations vary by country, contact your consulate or embassy of your country and visit the immigration site of the country you are traveling to for the requirements. Kids Sea Camp Reservation Office and staff will not assume responsibility for passengers not having the correct documentation.
