Year-round diving in small groups
Venture to Thailand, "The Land of Smiles", and Myanmar aboard MV Thai Sea. These islands lie only eight degrees north of the equator, so enjoy a tropical climate - and fantastic diving - year round. Dive in small groups of up to four, as you explore the remote and pristine waters of Burma and Thailand.
MV Thai Sea aims to provide a personalized service and with six attentive crew members there is always someone on hand to assist you. Although not a luxury liveaboard option, it certainly ticks all the boxes for budget-minded divers, and you can be sure of a friendly atmosphere throughout your Myanmar Dive Safari Adventure.
Sociable and relaxing areas onboard
The upper deck open-air saloon is the social hub of the boat. Here you'll find a number of tables and chairs where you can enjoy meal times, read up on the local marine life and chat to your fellow guests over a sundowner from the bar.
There is a huge sundeck with sun mats, towards the bow where you can work on your tan. There are also a couple of hammocks for the maximum chill factor. Other facilities include TV, DVD music system and computer. So you can watch movies, or enjoy some of the marine and general interest books and magazines that you will find onboard the Thai Sea.
Comfortable cabins and fully-equipped dive platform
Accommodation consists of five Standard Cabins and one Master Cabin. Each room is fan-cooled and located on the middle and upper decks. There are three toilets and shower rooms to share, as well as two open-air showers.
The dive platform have 2 fresh water rinsing showers and quick rinse bucket for just out of the water and “other than electronics” to keep the electronics buckets salt free. 2 diver friendly ladders easy to climb in full scuba makes it the perfect dive platform
MV Thai Sea is the ideal choice for those on a budget who don't need a luxurious experience but seek a sense of discovery in the remote Burmese waters of the Andaman Sea. Normally this means you can expect your fellow guests to be young, enthusiastic divers with a sense of adventure!
