Description
Diving the Crab - Chale Island is an experienced PADI Dive Resort in Southern Kenya.
The main dive center is based on Diani Beach, around 30 minutes from Chale Island. However, Chale Island has it's own base, complete with an experienced base leader and dive guide.
Diving the Crab has been taking people diving since 1985, making them one of Kenya's most established and reputable dive operations.
Top experiences include Kinondo Reef (full of fish and larger pelagics), incredible macro life and the chance to see whalesharks (Nov- Feb).
Equipment is well maintained and the team were recently awarded the 'Pure Air' certification for the quality and cleanliness of their tank filling proceedures.
Every month, Diving the Crab works with the marine centre to educate and organize large beach clean-up events. Strong swimmers target areas which are only accessible via boat, while the rest of the community targets beaches accessible from road. The support from the community is amazing!
