Requirements

  • No previous diving experience is required, but you do need to be in reasonable physical and physiological condition.

What to expect

We have two types of diving baptisms for people without previous experience:

  • The first one we call "Express Dive Baptism" : an instructor gives you an explanation about the things you will experience when breathing under water, about how the pressure will affect you and about how you should act to enjoy this unforgettable experience. Then you go with him to do a real immersion in the open sea at a maximum depth of 12 meters.
  • The second is called "Extended Baptism" , in this case an instructor gives you a complete theory class, then you go to the pool where you learn to use the equipment in a safe environment and you become familiar with it by practicing skills that you might need in the real immersion The next day you go to the sea to enjoy a dive as if you were already a real diver, normally in the Cabo de Gata Natural Park. In this case you receive an official recognition from PADI, (the largest diving organization in the world) and if you decide to continue with the diving course we immediately give you a good discount on the price of the initiation course.

Normally it is an activity that we do every day, although it is true that since it is very exclusive since there is an instructor for every two people, it is necessary to book in advance.
