Our internship program includes unlimited dives during your training and the opportunity to be more involved in the dive shop. Our Divemaster Internship trainees tend to become an integral part of the team and take on more important responsibilities.
The PADI Divemaster course takes about 50 hours to complete, with candidates finishing in weeks or months. Training includes confined and open water skill practice, knowledge development, and practical leadership experience.
You'll refine scuba skills, study diving physics and physiology, and improve areas like navigation, buoyancy, and dive planning. Instructors train you to lead dives, conduct briefings, and handle student divers safely. You'll also gain hands-on experience with programs like Discover Scuba® Diving and PADI ReActivate®.
To certify, you must complete waterskill exercises, a dive skills evaluation, a site map, an Emergency Assistance Plan, and score at least 75% on exams. Completing PADI Dive Theory Online may also be required.
Once certified, you can work as a divemaster worldwide or advance to instructor-level training.
