The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI's most popular specialist wave course. Why? Scuba diving with enriched air does not give you more decompression time, especially in repetitive scuba diving.

Enriched air, also known as nitrox or EANx, contains less nitrogen than regular air.
Breathing less nitrogen means you can enjoy longer dives and shorter surface intervals. No wonder Enriched Air Diver is the most popular PADI® specialty.

What to expect

You will learn why diving with higher oxygen and less nitrogen content saves you more time with rich air equipment. During your practice sessions, you will discuss managing oxygen exposure, analyze the oxygen content in your tank, and set up your dive computer for diving with enriched air.
