Learn the theory of diving in a structured way. Dive into the water and explore the diving technique in the swimming pool. Enjoy what you have learned in open water. The eLearning option allows you to make the most of your time on site.
This is the eLearning version of the PADI "Open Water Diver" course. This means that you do the theoretical part at home and not at the holiday location. The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases. The first is knowledge development, which covers everything you need to know about basic techniques, terminology and safety procedures when diving. The second is Confined Water Dives, a training session that takes place in a pool or water with pool-like conditions. They give you the opportunity to get used to the equipment you use and to practice the basic skills of diving and techniques to ensure your safety. The third is your Open Water Dives. That's what it's about - you make your first dives in the sea! During four dives, you will practice various skills underwater and on the surface to ensure that you are a safe and competent diver. The training section usually takes up only the first part of the dive, which means that you can spend a large part of your time with your instructor and explore the underwater world. As soon as your open water training dives have been approved by your instructor, you will be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver! This means that you can rent diving equipment for life and dive up to 18 meters anywhere in the world!
