You've always wanted to enjoy the weightlessness underwater and be right in the middle of it, instead of just exploring the underwater world above. Then a diving course is just right for you.
The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three parts. The first part is about acquiring knowledge via eLearning and covers everything you need to know about the technical basics, terminology and safety when diving. In the second part, dives take place in "confined water", i.e. training sessions in confined open water, which includes swimming pools. They offer you the opportunity to get used to your equipment and practice the basic skills of diving and the techniques that will ensure your safety. In the third part you complete the open water dives. After all, that's what it's all about - you're diving in open water for the first time! During the four dives you will practice the skills you have already learned so that you can move safely and competently as a diver underwater and on the surface. The training session usually only takes up the first part of the dive, which means that the rest of the time you can explore the underwater world with your instructor. As soon as your training dives in open water have been approved by your instructor, you will receive your "Open Water Diver" certification from PADI! Now you can rent diving equipment for life and dive to a depth of 18 meters worldwide!
