No experience with scuba diving required. You must be in good physical health & be able to float for 10 minutes & swim 200m unaided & without stopping. You must have completed your eLearning & confined water dives & be signed off by your instructor.

What to expect

This covers the final phase of the PADI Open Water Diver course: your Open Water Dives. You'll get the most out of your time on site by completing phase one (Knowledge Development) and phase two (Confined Water Dives) before traveling. These are the three phases that make up the entire PADI Open Water Diver course. Knowledge development covers everything you need to know about basic techniques, terminology and safety procedures in scuba diving. Confined water dives are training sessions conducted in a swimming pool or in water with conditions similar to those of a swimming pool. They give you the opportunity to get used to the equipment you will be using and to practice basic diving skills and techniques to keep you safe. Open water dives are the first ocean dives you will ever do. During four dives, you will perform various skills underwater and on the surface to ensure that you are a safe and competent diver. The training part usually only takes up the first part of the dive, which means you will spend most of your time diving with your instructor and exploring the underwater world.
