Jukung Dive Bali in Amed is a 5-Star PADI-Resort, which means that we maintain high quality standards for all diving we offer to our guests, safety in diving and equipment are absolute priorities. Therefore we only use first-class materials, regulators, BCD'S, shorty's etc, are mainly Mares which is a first quality brand in the diving industry. Next to that we made sure to employ staff of excellent and very dedicated instructors and dive-masters (all PADI certified) and maintenance technicians. Divers of all levels are welcome at Jukung Dive Bali. Please take a look in our guestbook for the comments of divers who have been here in Amed before you. Next to our ""dive-shop"", we have our Jukung Dive-caf where you can relax after your dives, compare your experiences with other divers.  Our friendly staff welcomes you with ""selamat datang"" and is looking forward to serve you your morning coffee, your mixed juice or your ""Bintang besar, yang dingin sekali!"" (a very cold beer).

Jukung Dive is located in Amed at the north eastern tip of Bali. Amed is famouse for the quiete and wonderful secrect dive sites for macro-loving divers.   From our base  at Amed it is a bustrip of maximum 20 min. to the village of Tulamben, the location of 5-10 excellent divesites of which the wreck of the USS ‘’Liberty’’ is the most welknown. All other divesites can be reached in the same time or less. So diving and staying in Amed saves you at least 5 hours per day compared to divers who stay in Nusa Dua, Sanur and Kuta-area. After diving you can relax in the pool of your hotel, make a trip by motor bike, do some snorkelling etc. etc, while others are "snoring" in the bus on the way back to…………… So what do you prefer: snoring or snorkelling ? And the next day another exciting dive site is waiting for you without having to get out of your bed at 05.30!!!

What to expect

You learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional.  Before your jump into the ocean, we'll ask you to pratice to breath underater and all the basic skills in the pool first  to prepare for your adventure. You'll go over the scuba equipment you use to dive and learn how easy it is to move around underwater with your gear. You'll find out what it’s like to breathe underwater and learn key skills that you’ll use during every scuba dive. 

When you feel confident enough, we'll take you to the ocean, usually if weather and sea conditon are good, we'll take to the famous USAT Liberty Shipwreck with all colorful and rich coral and marine life, it'll be unforgettable experience!
