Hightide Watersports is a PADI Dive Center on the west coast of Barbados.
No-hassle diving is what you will get when you dive with these guys. The team will set up your gear, load it to the boat and after the dive, wash it and store it away.
Single and double tank dives depart daily on shaded boats with a generous decking area. Boats have oxygen, a dry storage area, first aid kits, a camera table and easy exit and entry area.
Facilities include a gear and accesory shop, storage lockers, camera facilities, showers, equipment room and fish ID library.
A full range PADI recreational training is available, including specialties such as night and wreck diving.
Min. certification: Open Water Certification required
Min logged dives: 4 logged dives required
PADI Open Water Diver or qualifying entry-level certification.
What to expect
In the first phase you’ll learn professional tricks and tips for taking great photos underwater and the best way to capture video while scuba diving with a GoPro (or other action camera). After completing your knowledge you will continue to your phase two where you will perform two dives and get hands-on experience taking photos with a compact camera or action camera (use your own or ask about rental). You’ll use the SEA (Shoot, Examine, Adjust) method for getting great shots.
