Whether you’re looking to get that next PADI certificate, or just go on a fun dive to relax and enjoy the amazing freedom of going underwater BADLADZ has something for all skill levels.

Because of our great location we are only a 20 minute ride from all the dive sites in Puerto Galera. We leave the shop at 7:30 am for 2 dives and we arrive back at 12.30 pm. This leaves you time to either do 2 more dives in the afternoon at 1:30 pm or just relax and enjoy the rest of what Puerto Galera has to offer.

We’ll take you to the best diving spots in Puerto Galera, which is one of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World (Awarded 2004). It also has some of the best diving in the Philippines.

In the waters surrounding Puerto Galera, you’ll find some of the most beautiful tropical reefs in the world !

Thanks to the warm water, large assortment of diving spots and the excellent marine life you will see when diving in Puerto Galera, we are thought of as one of the best destinations in the world for scuba diving. Requirements

  • Minimum age: 10+
  • Min. certification: None
  • Min logged dives: None
  • No prior experience with scuba diving is required. You must be in good physical health and be able to float for 10 minutes and swim 200 m unaided and without stopping.

What to expect

If you’ve always wanted to learn how to scuba dive, discover new adventures or simply see the wondrous world beneath the waves, this is where it starts. The PADI Open Water Course is the world’s most popular scuba course and has introduced millions of people to the adventurous diving lifestyle.


This course trains you to dive to 18m (60ft).

You’ll learn all the basic skills and rules needed to become a safe and responsible diver. You’ll learn things like how to breathe underwater for the first time (something you’ll never forget) and discover for yourself how beautiful life underwater really is.

You’ll get:
5 academic lessons to understand the basic principles of diving
5 confined water training sessions to learn basic scuba skills
4 open water dives to put your skills to use and explore the world underwater
5 knowledge reviews
Final exam

All of this will be done under the careful supervision of a qualified instructor. All diving gear, as well as the PADI materials and certification, are included in the price.

After you complete your open water course with BADLADZ, you will have your PADI certification that is valid all over the world at any dive center – for the rest of your life!
