Requirements

Minimum age: 12+
Min. certification: Open Water Certification required
Min logged dives: 4 logged dives required
PADI Open Water Diver or qualifying entry-level certification. All divers need to complete the PADI standard medical questionnaire and if necessary receive approval to dive from a medical professional

What to expect

The Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about advancing your skills and making you more comfortable underwater. The Knowledge Development is done via PADI eLearning before you arrive and then its all about diving, there are 2 core dives: Deep and navigation and then a choice of 3 more, including Wreck, Night, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Photography and Nitrox, you can discuss your options with your instructor and come up with the best 3 for you. There's no exam because this course is truly about having fun and gaining experience. For every dive you complete, you can earn credit toward PADI® speciality certifications.
