Highlights

The course includes a briefing, some easy skills in shallow water and a dive for about 45 minutes to max. 12 meters depth. During the dive you will already see many fish and the interesting volcanic underwater world of Tenerife.

PADI 5 Star Dive Center

Diving on Tenerife with Ocean Trek Dive Club, Las Americas Tenerife. Tenerifes Dive Centre for novices to experts. 

We provide full training to PADI standards at Tenerifes friendliest Scuba Diving Centre. Ocean Trek dive at over twenty beautiful dive sites, featuring wrecks, caves, drop-offs, overhangs, tunnels, canyons and other amazing rock formations of volcanic origin. 

These are located in the south of the Island along the coast between the resorts of Las Eras and Alcala. Within 30 minutes boat drive from Las Galletas harbour or with our Mini Bus we reach the wonderful dive sites of Tenerife. Deep and Night Dives are arranged upon request to suit our clients taste and preference. Special dive programms can be arranged also for dive groups.

  • No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health.

What to expect

You learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional. When you make your open water dive, you'll practice some more skills in shallow water to prepare for your adventure. 

Get ready to: 

1) Go over the scuba equipment you use to dive and how easy it is to move around underwater with your gear. 

2) Find out what it's like to breathe underwater. 

3) Learn key skills that you'll use during every scuba dive. 

4) Have fun swimming around and exploring. 

5) Hear about becoming a certified diver through the PADI Open Water Diver course.
