PADI Open Water Diver Course- Learn to dive in Gran Canaria! (includes E-Learning)

When you do the PADI Open Water course with Puerto Rico Diving, your adventure begins with a convenient hotel pick-up, followed by a short drive to the dive centre for paperwork and equipment fitting. After that, you'll head to our local dive site where the first two days will take place. All confined water training is done directly in the ocean, in safe, calm conditions, ensuring an authentic diving experience from the start. Your PADI instructor will provide detailed briefings throughout day one and two, guiding you through five confined water sessions and two open water dives to practice your new skills.

On day three, you’ll explore a different dive site to expand your diving experience, acting as a certified diver while under the careful and direct supervision of your instructor. This is your opportunity to really feel what it's like to dive independently, preparing you for future adventures. After completing the course, you’ll finalise paperwork with your instructor and log all four of your dives in the PADI app, discussing the next steps in your diving journey!

E-Learning:

Your PADI Open Water course begins with e-learning materials, sent to you before the course starts. The team at Puerto Rico Diving will periodically check in to see how you're progressing and are always available to answer any questions you may have about the materials. On the first day of the course, your instructor will assess your understanding of the theory and guide you through any areas that need more attention, ensuring you're fully prepared for the final exam.
