Requirements

Minimum age: 15+
Min. certification: Advanced Open Water Certification required
Min logged dives: 4 logged dives required
PADI Adventure Diver (or qualifying certification). You must be in good physical health and fitness.

What to expect

This course is designed to equip you with the essential skills required to exceed the depth limits of your Open Water certification. During the initial phase, you will complete four training dives under the supervision of a certified PADI Instructor, focusing on controlled descents, buoyancy management, and the execution of safety stops. You will develop the competence and confidence to explore depths of up to 40 meters (130 feet), while gaining a deeper understanding of how increased pressure influences color perception, physical objects, and cognitive function. The academic portion of the course may be completed either locally or online through PADI eLearning.
