It is situated on the southwest coast of the island of Cebu in the Philippines, known for its excellent diving opportunities and breathtaking marine life.The resort offers a variety of fun diving for certified divers along with diving courses for both beginners and experienced divers, with PADI-certified instructors to guide you through every step of the way. What to expect

The PADI Advanced Open Water Course offered by Magic Island Resort is designed to improve your diving skills and knowledge, and prepare you for more challenging diving situations. Here are some things you can expect from the course:

  1. Dive Knowledge Development: You will complete knowledge development sections related to the five dives you will undertake during the course. These sections will be reviewed by a PADI instructor and may include topics such as underwater navigation, deep diving, night diving, EANx diving, and peak performance buoyancy.

  2. Five Adventure Dives: You will complete five adventure dives, which may include deep diving, underwater navigation, night diving, wreck diving, and more. These dives are designed to give you hands-on experience in different diving environments, and to help you develop your skills in those areas.

  3. Personalized Attention: Magic Island Resort prides itself on providing personalized attention to each diver. During the course, you will work with experienced PADI instructors who will give you individual feedback and guidance to help you improve your diving skills.

  4. Diving in Moalboal: Moalboal, Cebu is known for its stunning dive sites, including Pescador Island, which is home to a wide variety of marine life, including turtles, barracudas, and colorful coral formations. You can expect to dive in these beautiful and challenging environments during the course.

  5. Certification: Upon completion of the course, you will receive the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification, which will allow you to dive to a depth of 30 meters and open up more diving opportunities and destinations for you.
