Requirements

  • Minimum age: 18+
  • Min. certification: Advanced Open Water Certification required
  • Min logged dives: +50 logged dives required
  • Must have a current (renewed or taken in the last 24 months) First Aid and CPR certification. Must be a PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent) with at least 40 logged dives. If you do not have some of these requirements we can create a training package for you.

What to expect

The PADI Divemaster course in Malapascua Exotic Island Dive Resort is designed for those who are passionate about scuba diving and want to turn it into a career. As a PADI five star instructor development and scuba diving resort in Malapascua, Cebu, Philippines, the Divemaster course offers you the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a safe and supportive environment.

During the course, you can expect to learn a wide range of skills and knowledge including dive theory, underwater navigation, dive planning, and management techniques. You will also learn how to conduct a variety of dive programs, including Discover Scuba Diving, Scuba Review, and various continuing education courses.

The Divemaster course in Malapascua Exotic Island Dive Resort also includes practical training where you will be assisting instructors in teaching students and leading certified divers on guided tours. You will also have the opportunity to develop your leadership and problem-solving skills, as well as your dive management and supervision abilities.

Upon completion of the PADI Divemaster course, you will have the skills and knowledge required to work as a professional dive guide or instructor anywhere in the world. You will also have the opportunity to continue your training with the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC), which will prepare you for a career as a PADI Instructor.
