What to expect

When you sign up for the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course at Malapascua Exotic Island Dive Resort, you can expect an exciting and educational experience that will take your scuba diving skills to the next level. Here's what you can expect during the course:

Classroom Sessions: The course begins with a series of classroom sessions where you will learn about the different types of diving you'll be doing during the course, and the skills and knowledge you'll need to master. You'll also receive a course manual to review and complete knowledge reviews.

Five Open Water Dives: You'll then take part in five open water dives over two days, including two core dives (deep dive and underwater navigation) and three elective dives that you can choose from a list of specialties offered by the resort, such as night diving, wreck diving, fish identification, and more. You'll practice and develop new skills and techniques as you explore the amazing underwater world of Malapascua.

  3. Expert Instruction: Throughout the course, you'll be taught by experienced PADI instructors who will provide personalized attention and support to ensure that you feel comfortable and confident underwater. You'll also receive feedback and guidance to help you improve your skills and become a more confident and capable diver.
