During your PADI Enriched Air Nitrox course at Magic Island Resort in Moalboal, Cebu, Philippines, you will learn the principles of using enriched air nitrox for recreational diving. The course is typically completed over two half-day sessions, with a mix of classroom learning, practical exercises, and dives with enriched air nitrox.
You will learn how to plan and execute dives with EAN, calculate maximum operating depths and oxygen exposure limits, and analyze and label EAN tanks. You will also learn how to use a dive computer to plan and execute your EAN dives.
In the classroom sessions, our experienced PADI instructors will teach you the theory behind enriched air nitrox diving, including the advantages and potential hazards associated with using EAN, and the techniques for managing and analyzing your EAN tanks. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have and practice what you learn through hands-on exercises.
After completing the classroom portion of the course, you will go on two dives with enriched air nitrox, under the guidance of our PADI instructors. During these dives, you will put into practice what you have learned in the classroom, and experience first-hand the benefits of diving with enriched air nitrox.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a PADI Enriched Air Nitrox certification card, allowing you to dive with EAN up to 40% oxygen anywhere in the world.
