The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases. The first is knowledge development, which covers everything you need to know about basic diving techniques, terminology and safety procedures. The second is confined water dives, which are training sessions conducted in a pool or pool-like water. You'll have the opportunity to get used to the equipment you'll be using and to practice basic diving skills and safety techniques. The third is open water dives. This is the main objective: to make your first dives in the ocean. During the four dives you'll develop various skills underwater and on the surface to ensure you have the safety skills and competencies required for diving. As soon as your instructor approves your open water training dives you'll get your PADI Open Water Diver certification! This means you can rent scuba equipment and dive anywhere in the world at a depth of up to 18 metres for life.
The DIVE AND GREEN diving center is very close to the Capurganá pier, just behind the main street of the pier.
