Este curso de Buceo Científico ofrece una formación especializada para submarinistas interesados en convertirse en Técnicos de Campo Subacuáticos. Intregra la formación clásica de buceo con el aprendizaje de biología marina y el desarrollo de destrezas de muestreo biológico submarino.

Contenido académico: 1. Ecología marina 2. Instrumentación científica 3. Metodología de muestreo y conservación de muestras 4. Monitorización de ecosistemas marinos: praderas, fondo de arena y de roca 5. Cómo elaborar un informe técnico
Prácticas en Aguas Confinadas (opcional) Se trata de una sesión práctica de dos horas de duración en las que se familiariza al alumno con técnicas de buceo específicas y con el manejo de material de muestreo.
El bloque de prácticas en Aguas Abiertas se desarrolla en entorno real y consiste en realizar 4 Inmersiones de muestreo (censo peces, sedimento y pradera)
Redacción y entrega de informe final Los alumnos concluyen el curso entregando una Memoria de Trabajo de Campo y un Informe Final de resultados obtenidos.
El alumno recibe una acreditación PADI como Scientific Diver y un diploma de ZOEA avalado por el Colegio Oficial de Biólogos como Buceador Científico (Técnico de Campo Subacuático)

What to expect

El curso de Buceo Científico se estructura en tres bloques: Contenidos Académicos

Prácticas en Aguas Confinadas y 4 inmersiones en Aguas Abiertas

Redacción de Informe Final

El Contenido Académico tiene una carga lectiva de 12 horas. La sesión práctica en aguas confinadas (opcional) sirve para familiarizar al alumno con las técnicas y materiales que utilizará en aguas abiertas. Las prácticas en Aguas Abiertas consisten en cuatro inmersiones de muestreo y se desarrollan en 2 días de trabajo de campo. La Redacción de un Informe Final y la Memoria del Trabajo de Campo se evalúan en una sesión de revisión de resultados.
