You want to enjoy best underwater view, almost constant water temperatures of 27°C and pleasant climate? You don‘t want to see coral bleaching, but a plenty of fishes and intact underwater nature? Keepon reading! Curacao 1939 was already discovered by Hans's Hass for diving. Since 1999 also Harald Weinrich is on location with his dive center in the proximity of Willemstad in Boca St. Michiel and Westpunt. More than 60 diving sites are waiting for you while you can easily reach more than the half by car. For divers with less experience we recommend our guided dives, more experienced divers are free to explore the diving places on their own. On account of the central position of our basis all diving places of the island are quickly accessible.

No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health.

What to expect

You learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional. When you make your open water dive, you’ll practice some more skills in shallow water to prepare for your adventure. Go over the scuba equipment you use to dive and how easy it is to move around underwater with your gear. Find out what it’s like to breathe underwater. Learn key skills that you’ll use during every scuba dive. Have fun swimming around and exploring. Hear about becoming a certified diver through the PADI Open Water Diver course. Most of all, have fun!
