To sign up for a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, you must be at least 10 years old.
No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, you need to be in reasonable physical health.
What will you learn?
You learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional.
Get ready to:
o Go over the scuba equipment you use to dive and how easy it is to move around underwater with your gear.
o Find out what it’s like to breathe underwater.
o Learn key skills that you’ll use during every scuba dive.
o Have fun swimming around in scuba gear.
o Hear about becoming a certified diver through the PADI Open Water Diver course.
We run PADI Discover scuba’s at Hutton Grammar School, Liverpool Rd, Hutton, Preston PR4 5SN on a Wednesday evening meeting at 7.30pm and pool time 7:45 – 9:10pm
All equipment will be provided.
Breathing underwater for the first time is thrilling, so don’t wait!! Once you have completed your Discover scuba why not enrol onto the PADI Open water diver course and gain your “Licence to dive”.
Medical questionnaire
For safety, all Participants complete a Diver medical participant Questionnaire, if the questions asked do not apply simply sign the form and you’re ready to start. If any of the questions do apply, a Doctor must assess the condition and sign the Diver medical participant Questionnaire form to confirm that they are fit to dive.
