No prior experience with scuba diving is required. You must be in good physical health and be able to float for 10 minutes and swim 200 m unaided and without stopping.

What to expect

PADI Open Water Diver Course with Dry Suit Specialty

The PADI Open Water Diver course is designed to take you from beginner to certified diver in three key phases:

Knowledge Development: Learn the essential diving techniques, terminology, and safety procedures to prepare you for your underwater adventure.
Confined Water Dives: Practice your new skills in a controlled pool environment during evening sessions on Wednesdays. This phase helps you get comfortable with your gear and build confidence.
Open Water Dives: Over planned weekends, you’ll complete five open water dives (instead of the usual four) wearing a dry suit. These dives allow you to apply your skills in real open water conditions while staying warm and dry. You’ll explore the underwater world with your instructor and gain the competence needed to dive safely.

Upon successful completion, you’ll earn two certifications for the price of one: PADI Open Water Diver and the PADI Dry Suit Specialty. Your Open Water certification lets you dive anywhere in the world up to 18 meters, for life!

We exclusively teach Open Water courses with dry suits to keep you comfortable and extend your diving season, perfect for UK conditions!
