The PADI Junior Mermaid course begins with participants meeting at the designated location, where they’ll be greeted by their instructor. They’ll start with a briefing session to cover safety and the day’s activities. Then, they’ll proceed to a pool for their first in-water session. Here, they’ll practice mermaid skills such as dolphin kicks and turns. Participants will see others dressed in mermaid tails, learning and performing underwater maneuvers. The course concludes with a debriefing, where they’ll review their experience and discuss any questions. Participants leave with newfound confidence and skills in mermaiding.
