PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

Khao Lak's very first dive center! 

Since 1993 we have been diving with passion, safety, fun and friends. We run PADI courses, local day trips and liveaboard trips.  Come join us and become part of the Sea Dragon family.

Our Dive Center

At our beautiful dive center, we have our own swimming pool, 3 classrooms, a luggage storage room, 4 bathrooms and 2 showers, a security safe, a large equipment storage area, the retail area, an equipment washing & drying area, 2 compressors, a workshop. And, most importantly, plenty of s.p.a.c.e. for you, our customers! 

Our dive center is as unique in design as we are in personality!

In our retail section you can buy insulated stainless steel water bottles, canvas bags, bamboo toothbrushes, travel towels, t-shirts, keyrings, mask antifog, plus a range of diving equipment and accessories.

Enjoy the free wifi, refill your water bottle, help yourself to tea and coffee, charge your phone or laptop at our charging station or just relax on a bean bag in our Chill Zone.

Our trips

As the very first dive center in Khao Lak, the first to run liveaboard trips to the Similan Islands and with nearly 30 years of experience, we are the experts! 

We run local day trips on our boat, the MV Nangnuan, to the house reef, Khao Na Yak, to the Artificial Reef and to the Bangsak Wreck. On request we also go to the nearby Thai Muang/Premchai Wreck or the deeper Sea Chart Wreck. 

We work closely with several trusted local dive centers to provide day trips to the Similan and Surin National Marine Parks, for both divers and snorkelers. We also offer day trips to Phuket and Phi Phi with our partner dive center in Chalong.

We own and operate our own liveaboard boat, the MV Andaman, which runs 3-day and 4-day trips. You can do two trips back-to-back to make a 7-day trip. For real scuba addicts, you can do three trips back-to-back for an incredible 11-day adventure! Divers, snorkelers and freedivers are all welcome.

New for the 2023-2024 season, we have a new addition to our fleet: the MV Explorer liveaboard boat. Running 3-day and 5-day trips which can be combined for an 8-day package. Or really go for it, with 3 trips back-to-back for an 11-day diving extravaganza!

Our PADI courses

We run all PADI courses from beginner to pro. Start your diving with Discover Scuba Diving or Open Water Diver. Continue your education with Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver or Specialties. Become a professional Divemaster with our 6-week intensive training programme. We also run Instructor Development Courses. Whatever you level, we have a course for you.
