If you have ever wanted to see the underwater world beneath the waves, then this is where it starts! The e-Learning option makes the most of your time—you can complete the theory component online before you arrive and enjoy yourself while here.
This is the e-Learning version of the PADI Open Water Diver course—meaning you can complete the theoretical component of the course at home prior to arrival, rather than in-location. The course consists of three main parts:
1. Knowledge Development: this part of the course covers everything you need to know about basic techniques, terminology and safety procedures in scuba diving. You will complete this online by yourself using PADI's e-Learning system.
2. Confined Water Dives: this is a series of training modules conducted in a pool. Each module gives you the opportunity to get familiar with the diving equipment as well as practice basic diving skills and techniques to keep you safe.
3. Open Water Dives: here is where you will make your first dives into the ocean! There are four ocean dives in total. For each dive you will perform various skills under water and on the surface to make sure you are a safe and competent diver. Once you have completed your open water training dives and your competency has been approved by your instructor, you will become a certified PADI Open Water Diver! At this point, you will be permitted to go scuba diving anywhere in the world at a maximum depth of 18m.
Our free transportation area is between Maenam in the north, and Lamai in the south. Outside of this area we will arrange transportation for you, but it will come at an additional fee depending upon the location.
