Explore new depths and boost your diving skills with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course. Enjoy thrilling adventure dives like wrecks, night dives, and deep dives while gaining confidence and mastering new techniques!
When you arrive at the dive center at 11:00 am, you’ll meet your instructor for a brief orientation and a quick review of the essential theory for the course. After getting your gear fitted, you’ll hop on the boat to begin your underwater adventure.
On day one, you’ll focus on skill-building with the Underwater Navigation dive, learning how to use natural clues and a compass to find your way underwater. You’ll also enjoy an elective dive of your choice - whether that’s perfecting buoyancy, exploring a wreck, or identifying fish. The day usually wraps up around 4:30 pm. If you’re up for it, you can join an optional Night Dive later to discover the magical marine life that comes alive after dark.
Day two starts early, at 6:15 am, with a Deep Dive where you’ll practice planning and managing your air supply while exploring deeper waters. You’ll then complete another elective dive to round out your new skills. The day finishes around 11:00 am. After your final dive, you’ll celebrate earning your Advanced Open Water Diver certification, your ticket to diving deeper and exploring new sites worldwide.
Throughout the course, you’ll complete five adventure dives, explore vibrant coral reefs, encounter fascinating marine life, and possibly visit a shipwreck or spot night-time sea creatures. Between dives, relax on the boat, share stories, and gear up for your next underwater adventure!
Coral Grand Divers is right on the beach at the peaceful end of Sairee Beach. If you’re arriving by road, just park your bike in the Coral Grand Resort parking lot and take a short stroll down to the beach-you’ll find us there!
