PADI 5 Star Dive Center

The Dearly Dive Koh Tao offers PADI certified courses from Open Water and Advanced Open Water to Rescue Divers and Divemaster. If you're not looking to get a certification, you can also try the Discover Scuba Diving program. With the in-house swimming pool, you can complete the initial training and get comfortable with the scuba gear on-site before heading to the ocean. If you are already certified, we can also take you out on fun dives and explore over 20 diving sites around the island.

Koh Tao has the ideal environment to learn scuba diving. With high visibility, mostly calm water, and warm temperature all year round, it is perfect for beginners to start their course.

Requirements

Minimum age: 12+
Min. certification: Open Water Certification required
Min logged dives: 4 logged dives required
PADI Open Water Diver or qualifying entry-level certification. You will need to show proof of a logged dive within six months. Otherwise, we are happy to help you with a refresher program.

What to expect

The Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about advancing your skills. Available also in eLearning, the first phase of this training is Knowledge Development, which includes lessons on popular specialty dives. In the second phase you'll practice underwater navigation and buoyancy, try deep diving and make three specialty dives of your choosing. During the final phase, after some skill practice with your instructor, you'll make five open water dives. There's no exam because this course is truly about having fun and gaining experience. For every specialty dive you complete, you can earn credit toward PADI® specialty certifications.
