Complete online theory in your own pace before travelling. Join our dayboat for three dives incorporating in-water skill practice. Spend the rest of the time exploring colorful reefs full of marine life; we often meet sharks, turtles and mantas.
Pop into our office the day before to
say hello. We will then complete your registration, try your gear and collect
Komodo National Park fees.
On the day of the trip meet our dive team in our office at 7.15am. We will walk together to the harbor in just a couple of minutes. Once all onboard we will start heading out to open sea, the journey to Komodo National Park takes around 70min and then perhaps some more depending on the program of the day. On the way our Divemaster/Instructor will supervise you setting up your gear and brief you on the skills & dives of the day.
During the dives you will practice 24 skills from your Open Water course including mask removal (if you find this scary then it is definitely a good reason to practice it!), out-of-air situations and oral inflation on the surface.
Our sites are all unique in terms of
topography, marine life, currents and the way we dive them. We will pick three which are suitable for your level. We
often see reef sharks, turtles, mantas, groupers, giant trevally in addition to
colorful coral reefs full with fish and strange critters.
We have at least one hour-long break between the dives and provide refreshments, freshly cooked lunch and drinks. This is a good time to sit down together for a feedback session aimed at improving and fine-tuning your dive performance.
The return time will vary but we usually arrive in Labuan Bajo
around 5pm, just in time to find a good spot for enjoying the sunset.
Our dive shop is located on the main tourist street just 50m from the harbor entrance. Be aware that there are a few dive shops with similar names. Find us on Google Maps: https://g.page/Dive-Komodo?share
