DiveNet Philippines, headed by PADI Course Director Hernel Castillo and PADI Master Instructor Joy Cubelo-Castillo have been in the scuba instruction business since 1989. DiveNet offers SCUBA diving instruction from basic entry level to instructor level. Our classes consist of small groups w/ flexible hours. We conduct our confined water classes at our own private training covered pool. We can also arrange weekly dive trips to Anilao, Batangas or to other exotic dive destinations within the Philippines or yearly trips to Palau.

No prior experience with scuba diving is required. You must be in good physical health and be able to float for 10 minutes and swim 200 m unaided and without stopping.

What to expect

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases.

The 1^st is Knowledge Development, which covers everything you need to know about basic techniques, terminology and safety procedures in scuba diving. You will be given an eLink to be able to complete all the quizzes & the final exam prior to the ocean dives.

The 2^nd are the confined water dives, which are training sessions conducted at our pool at facility located in Quezon City. This training is conducted from Mondays to Thursdays by appointment.

The 3^rd are your open water dives, which are conducted in Anilao, Batangas on week-ends. This is what it's all about - you'll make your first dives in the ocean! During 4 dives, you'll perform various skills under water and on the surface to make sure you're a safe and competent diver.

Meet at the dive center

Participant searches for DIVENET PHILIPPINES. He/she should prepare swim attire (swimsuit or diving suit), towel for drying off post-dive & water bottle, and any personal snorkeling gear. The actual ocean dive can be scheduled for the next day, if availability permits or a weekend or date, coordinating with both customer and instructor availability.
