At Blue Waters Dive Cove we offer PADI courses from novice to professional levels. We also offer you Dive Packs to enjoy Gozo diving either on your own or accompanied by our qualified instructors who will guide you around the spectacular coastline. If you choose to rent only tanks and weights we will be happy to offer you our free advice on how to best enjoy diving in Gozo.

Divers with Blue Waters Dive Cove will enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with a friendly, knowledgeable and international team. We ensure groups are small and tailored to experience level so you can enjoy your time in and out of the water to the fullest. In store we have high quality and up to date rental equipment, an in shop classroom for any PADI courses, cylinder filling services on site, shower facilities and the newest equipment available for purchase.

We can also offer you B&B accommodation only a few meters away from the dive centre, and a few minutes walk from beautiful Hondoq bay!

Requirements

Minimum age: 18+
Min. certification: Advanced Open Water Certification required
Min logged dives: +20 logged dives required
PADI Rescue Divers who are at least 18 years old may enroll in the PADI Divemaster course. You also need to have: Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months. A medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months. At least 40 logged dives to begin the course and 60 dives to earn certification. Note that qualifying certifications from other diver training organization may apply – ask your PADI Instructor.

What to expect

The divemaster course is the first step on PADI's professional ladder. It takes participants into a leading role, so they are able to motivate, mentor and supervise other divers. During the extensive training divers will not only work on their own skills and abilities in a wide range of exercises and assessments, but work alongside instructors in supervising, even leading, dives and courses.

If you have a love for diving and want to share that passion with others then the Divemaster course is the perfect way to begin that professional journey.

Participants will become an ambassador for diving, improve their dive skills to a demonstration level, learn to assist in and conduct a wide range of PADI courses and safely manage a variety of dive sites and activities.
