Divewise

PADI 5 Star Dive Center

Divewise, recognized as one of the pioneering dive centers in Malta, has continuously adapted to stay ahead in the realm of diving services.

With a family-oriented approach, the dive center offers courses for all levels, starting daily, from first-time divers to Divemaster programs. Instructor courses are available three times a year. The dive center encourages all open water divers and continuing education divers to become enriched air divers, providing recreational enriched air free of charge. The experienced multilingual team features a balanced mix of female and male instructors, showcasing the dive center's commitment to diversity and excellence.

Divewise has its own house reef for dives and two pools for training right on site. All the main hot spot dive sites are only 35 minutes away, offering great diving in clear, blue, warm water with excellent wrecks suitable for all levels and abundant marine life. Divewise welcomes visitors and is happy to arrange dive packages.

As a PADI Career Development Centre, Divewise maintains a friendly and warm atmosphere.

Package description

Inclusive of

  • 1 open water dive
  • Scuba equipment rental (full set)

Requirements

  • Minimum age: 10+
  • Min. certification: None
  • Min logged dives: None
  • No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health and need to have the ability to swim. A Medical clarification is required if you have Asthma, Diabetes, Prescribed Medication, or any known medical conditions or a medical history

What to expect

You learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional. When you make your open water dive, you’ll practice some more skills in shallow water to prepare for your adventure. 

Get ready to:

 1) Go over the scuba equipment you use to dive and how easy it is to move around underwater with your gear.

 2) Find out what it’s like to breathe underwater. 

3) Learn key skills that you’ll use during every scuba dive. 

4) Have fun swimming around and exploring. 

5) Hear about becoming a certified diver through the PADI Open Water Diver course.

Pick up and drop off can be arranged for accommodation in the following areas: Sliema Gzira Msida St Julians Paceville Swiegi San Gwann If your hotel/apartment or Air B&B is situated in the above areas, you will be required to stand outside the main entrance at the requested pickup time. An accurate address of your accommodation is requested in order for the instructor to collect you and can be provided at the time of booking.
