Our center is located inside the Elphistone Marsa Alam Resort, about 23 km south of Marsa Alam International Airport. We offer Padi courses of all levels, for all ages, from beginner to Assistant Instructor, and our instructors offer a wide range of specialties to be able to broaden our experiences in the underwater world. Our programs also include non-diving family members, who can accompany their loved ones, with specialized guides for snorkeling, on fantastic days on the boat, or half days on a dinghy or beach. Requirements

  • Minimum age: 10+

  • You will need to have completed the PADI Open Water Diver eLearning program before arrival and bring your eRecord along. This is the theory and knowledge development part of your PADI Open Water Diver course. If you didn't do that at home, you will have the time to do in the class room, with the assitance of your instructor

What to expect

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases. The first is the theoretical development, which covers everything you need to know about basic techniques, terminology and safety procedures in scuba diving. The second is confined water dives, i.e. training sessions conducted in a pool or in waters with pool-like conditions. They give you the opportunity to get used to the equipment you will be using and to practice basic diving skills and techniques for diving safely. The third is open water diving. You will take your first dives in the ocean! During four dives, you will practice various skills underwater and on the surface to ensure you are a safe and competent diver. The training portion usually only takes up the first part of the dive, which means you can spend most of the time diving with the instructor and exploring the underwater world. As soon as the instructor approves your open water dives, you will obtain the PADI Open Water Diver certification! This means you will be allowed to rent diving equipment and dive anywhere in the world to depths of up to 18 metres, for life!

Pick Up Information

According on where the guest base is, the day before the beginnig of the course, he will deal together with the instructor and decide where to meet (reception of his Resort or gate). We provide free pick up service from Marsa Alam city in the South, until 20 km from us in the north direction. For other distances we will manage the service as well, but there will be a daily extra charge, according to the distance
