Highlights

This course weekend will take place in Munising, Michigan and some travel may be required. We will be diving on Lake Superior for the weekend we have this course scheduled. It is an amazing place to visit as well as dive there.

Ice diving is one of the most adventurous scuba specialties because you confront conditions and see beauty few others ever experience.
You might get a chance to play with your exhaled bubbles on the bottom of the ice.
This course is also offered locally as well if there is ice

Requirements

Minimum age: 18+
Min. certification: Advanced Open Water Certification required
Min logged dives: +20 logged dives required
You must have at least 25 dives in a drysuit to be considered for this course. Advanced open water is not required if equivalent experience can be proven

What to expect

Over the weekend in Munising Michigan, we will be doing lecture at a local hotel Friday night. If needed arrangements can be made to do the lecture online via Zoom prior to the weekend experience. On Saturday and Sunday we will venture out onto Lake Superior where you will learn how to prep the ice hole, apply techniques for keeping warm, prepping dive gear and making the adventure as fun and as safe as possible.
