Requirements

  • Minimum age: 10+
  • Min. certification: None
  • Min logged dives: None
  • No prior experience with scuba diving is required. You must be in good physical health and be able to float for 10 minutes and swim 200 m unaided and without stopping.

What to expect

The PADI Open Water course is a comprehensive program designed to teach you the basic knowledge and skills needed to become a certified scuba diver. The course is typically conducted over several days and includes both classroom and practical sessions.

During the course, you will learn about dive theory, equipment, safety procedures, and how to plan and execute dives. You will also have the opportunity to practice diving skills in a controlled environment, such as a swimming pool, before moving on to open water dives.

The course will culminate in a series of open water dives where you will demonstrate your knowledge and skills. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a PADI Open Water certification, which will allow you to dive with a buddy to a maximum depth of 18 meters (60 feet).
