No experience with scuba diving required. You must be in good physical health & be able to float for 10 minutes & swim 200m unaided & without stopping. You must have completed your eLearning & confined water dives & be signed off by your instructor.

What to expect

This covers the final phase of the PADI Open Water Diver course: your Open Water Dives. You'll make the most of your time in the location by completing phases one (Knowledge Development) and two (Confined Water Dives) before you travel. These are the three phases that make up the entire PADI Open Water Diver course. Knowledge Development covers everything you need to know about basic techniques, terminology, and safety procedures in scuba diving. Confined Water Dives are training sessions conducted in a pool or water with pool-like conditions. They allow you to get used to the gear you'll be using and practice the basic diving skills and techniques to keep you safe. Open Water Dives are the first ocean dives you'll ever do. During four dives, you'll perform various skills underwater and on the surface to make sure you're a safe and competent diver. The training portion usually only takes up the first part of the dive, meaning that you will get to spend a big part of your time diving with your instructor and exploring the underwater world.
