What to expect

The PADI Advanced Open Water Course with Aussie Divers Phuket is all about building confidence, refining skills, and exploring new dive experiences. Unlike the Open Water course, there’s no exam—this course is designed to be fun while helping you gain more experience under the guidance of our professional instructors.

You'll begin with Knowledge Development, which can be completed via PADI eLearning® before your dives. This covers the theory behind deep diving, navigation, and other specialty dives. The first day of diving takes place at the Racha Islands, where you'll complete the mandatory Deep Dive (learning to manage air consumption and nitrogen exposure at greater depths) and Underwater Navigation Dive (honing your compass and natural navigation skills).

On day two, you’ll head to the stunning Phi Phi Islands and/or Shark Point to complete three additional adventure dives of your choice, such as Drift Diving, Peak Performance Buoyancy, or Fish Identification. Each dive enhances your skills and counts toward PADI specialty certifications. After completing all six dives, you'll earn your PADI Advanced Open Water certification, allowing you to dive up to 30 meters worldwide and opening the door to even more incredible diving adventures!

Conveniently located just 100 meters from Chalong Pier, our bright blue building is easy to spot. Look for the life-size whale shark statue out front – you can’t miss it! Whether you're checking in for your dive course, meeting your instructor, or gearing up for an exciting day on the water, our friendly team is ready to welcome you.
