Requirements

  • Minimum age: 10+
  • Min. certification: None
  • Min logged dives: None
  • No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health.

What to expect

You learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional. 

When you make your open water dive, you’ll practice some more skills in shallow water to prepare for your adventure. Get ready to: 

1) Go over the scuba equipment you use to dive and how easy it is to move around underwater with your gear. 

2) Find out what it’s like to breathe underwater. 

3) Learn key skills that you’ll use during every scuba dive. 

4) Have fun swimming around and exploring. 

5) Hear about becoming a certified diver through the PADI Open Water Diver course.

Meet at the dive center

Customers must identify the hotel or lodging where they are staying and arrangements will be made to pick them up from the hotel lobby or reception area, this service is available for all customers staying in the areas of Playas del Coco, Playa Hermosa, or Playa Panama. Any lodging outside these areas requires the guest to make their way to the dive center.
