Requirements

  • Minimum age: 10+
  • Min. certification: None
  • Min logged dives: None
  • No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health. Minimum age 10 years old; minors under 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult guardian A medical statement must be signed to confirm that you are in good health, otherwise get a signed physician approval A liability release must be filled and signed by all participants It is highly recommended to know how to swim and feel comfortable in the water

What to expect

You learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional. When you make your open water dive, you’ll practice some more skills in shallow water to prepare for your adventure. Go over the scuba equipment you use to dive and how easy it is to move around underwater with your gear. Find out what it’s like to breathe underwater. Learn key skills that you’ll use during every scuba dive. Have fun swimming around and exploring. Hear about becoming a certified diver through the PADI Open Water Diver course. Most of all, have fun!


What’s included:

  • Aprox. 3-hours total guided experience
  • Scuba gear rental with BCD, regulator, tank, weights and all snorkeling gear
  • Online training and theory review on the science of diving
  • Safety briefing to understand best practices and procedures
  • Basic skills training in shallow water to prepare for the dive
  • 30-45 minutes underwater exploring with marine life
  • Direct supervision of a certified PADI professional
  • Use of facilities with lockers, showers, restrooms, and gift shop



What’s not included:

  • Towels; please bring with a bathing suit
  • Swim wear; rashguard or wetsuit is available for purchase or rent if desired
  • Transportation; rental car, taxi or Uber is recommended
