Requirements

  • Minimum age: 10+

  • No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health.

What to expect

You’ll start by learning the basic safety guidelines and essential skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional. During your open water dive, you'll practice these skills in shallow water to prepare for your adventure. You'll get familiar with the scuba equipment, understanding how it works and how easy it is to move underwater with your gear.

Experience what it's like to breathe underwater and master key skills that you'll use during every scuba dive. Enjoy swimming around and exploring the underwater world. You'll also hear about the opportunities to become a certified diver through the PADI Open Water Diver course. Most importantly, have fun and enjoy this unique adventure!

How to get there

if you're arriving by car, simply drive past the Caribe Hilton and the Normandie Hotel on Av. Luis Muñoz Rivera. After you pass the stadium, turn right at the traffic light and enter Escambron Beach. Please note that there is a $5 parking fee, which you can pay to the attendant upon arrival. Once you've paid the fee, continue driving straight through the palm tree path - do not park in the lot next to the attendant. Keep driving until you reach the end of the palm tree path, and you'll see a roundabout. Continue straight across it and keep driving until you reach the next lot where you'll find us. Look out for a large, white Ford Transit Cargo Van with a giant red dive flag in the parking lot next to the water - that's where we'll be waiting for you!
