The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases. The first is the theoretical development, which covers everything you need to know about the basic techniques, terminology and safety procedures in scuba diving. The second is confined water dives, i.e. training sessions conducted in a pool or in waters with similar conditions to the pool. They give you the opportunity to get used to the equipment you will be using and to practice basic diving skills and techniques to dive safely. The third is open water diving. You will make your first dives in the ocean! During four dives, you will practice various skills underwater and on the surface to ensure that you are a safe and competent diver. The training part usually only takes up the first part of the dive, which means you will be able to spend much of your time diving with the instructor and exploring the underwater world. As soon as the instructor approves your open water dives, you will earn the PADI Open Water Diver certification! This means that you will be allowed to rent diving equipment and dive anywhere in the world up to 18 meters, for life!
Two locations to choose from. Drive to West Bay Road and you will pass the West Bay Mall and continue straight through the Infinity Bay Parking lot til you get to Grand Roatan Resort on your right. There is plenty of parking . Our shop is on the beach to the right. We have a second location a short walk down the beach right behind Beacher's Grill.
