The course can be started from home with the e-Learning courses for the theoretical part, in order to save time at the vacation spot to only enjoy the part in the water!

Independent monitor, IDC Staff Instructor and state graduate DEJEPS, affiliated center Padi Educational Facility, does not have a classic physical center shop , but works in partnership with diving centers around Hyères (83): fewer boats in navigation, less waste generated, less pollution ! Aware spirit!

General Organization:

The organization of the practical lessons and the schedule belongs to Saphir Plongée, depending on availability and weather conditions.

In high summer season: Open water lessons generally start on Monday afternoon, as do the DSDs.

What to expect

The Advanced Open Water Diver course is designed to improve your skills. Also available as an eLearning course, the first phase of this training is knowledge development, which includes lessons on popular specialty dives. During the second phase, you'll practice underwater navigation and buoyancy, try deep diving, and complete three specialty dives of your choice. During the final phase, after practicing certain skills with your instructor, you'll complete five open water dives. There are no exams, as this course is truly about having fun and gaining experience. For each specialty dive you complete, you can earn credit toward PADI® specialty certifications.
