General Organization:

The organization of the practical lessons and the schedule belongs to Saphir Plongée, depending on availability and weather conditions.

In high summer season: Open water lessons generally start on Monday afternoon, as do the DSDs.

What to expect

Learn why nitrox allows you to do longer dives and how to dive with nitrox safely. EANx divers need to know what mix they have (and, therefore, their MOD). In the initial phase you will learn how to analyze a cylinder with an oxygen analyzer to check the percentage of oxygen in the cylinder before diving. You will learn how to fill out a dive log for enriched air and how to set your dive computer for nitrox. There are two optional dives where you can practice your knowledge. You can complete the knowledge portion of this course locally or online with eLearning.
