The PADI Scuba Diver course is part of the PADI Open Water Diver course. If you don't have much time but want to become a diver, the PADI Scuba Diver course may be for you.
The PADI Scuba Diver course consists of three main phases. The first is knowledge development, so that you understand the basic principles of scuba diving.
This covers the first three of five sections of the Open Water Diver course. Second are confined water dives, which teach you the basic skills of scuba diving - the first three of five dives in the Open Water Diver course.
Finally, you will do your open water dives, where you will use your skills and explore. This covers two of the four Open Water Diver course dives. Limited to 12 meters deep.
You will be able to complete the missing dives until open water later by continuing with chapters 4 and 5 of the theory + final MCQ exam + diving in protected environment 4 and 5 and dives in open water 3 and 4
